FromScratch(NZ) : a selection of art/music videos representing the work of legendary NZ, experimental, rhythm-based, DIY invented instrument, performance group From Scratch. The group was formed by Phil Dadson in 1974 as an offshoot of Scratch orchestra (NZ) along with founder members Bruce Barber, Geoff Chapple & Gray Nicol (later replaced by Barry Barquie). Subsequent evolution of the group later in the 1970s involved members Wayne Laird, Don McGlashan, Gary Wain, & Grecia Alexiev. By 1980 the group had settled into a quartet of Chapple, Dadson, Laird and McGlashan, joined in 1986 for Pacific 3,2,1,Zero Part 2, by Peter Scholes, Nicola May, Joshna LaTrobe, Aldas Palunbinskas, Kim Wesney, Deborah Maud, Diipali Linwood, Alison Henry & Ben Harrop. 1990s, Dadson, James McCarthy, Neville Hall & Walter Müller (RIP). 2000s: Dadson, Adrian Croucher, Shane C'urrey, Darryn Harkness Rebecca Celebuski, Rachel Thomas.
