Sena Kana made history as the first Japanese solo female artist to go Gold in the U.S. with her 2019 hit “Up” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Sheppard—a breakthrough for global pop.
In 2017 she released her debut single, Live Your Dreams, which became a streaming sensation in Europe, topping iTunes charts.
Her 2018 single “Truth or Dare” soared to #1 on France’s Digital Song Sales chart and charted across Europe. The following year, she released “Up” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Sheppard, earning Gold certification in the U.S.—making her the first Japanese female solo artist to achieve that milestone.
In 2020, Sena Kana launched her debut EP Serenity, executively produced by Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, featuring the track “Undisputed” with his collaboration.
Her second EP Show Me, released in November 2021 with features including Ty Dolla Sign, debuted at #112 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart—the first entry by a Japanese solo artist on that chart.
