I am an avid fly fisher and the content of my videos will depict this. My fishing journey began when I was a kid fishing local family ponds here in SW GA and an occasional trip to the flats on the FL gulf coast. At the time, I was using traditional tackle like a bait caster or spinning reel. It wasn’t until I was on a trip to the FL Keys in the summer of 2009 that I picked up my first fly rod combo. I used it when I got back home to AL, where I lived at the time, on a local pond and caught a few bream. My casting was awful! I then took it on a trip to the GA mountains that fall and was absolutely skunked. I put that thing in the shed and didn’t pick it up for roughly 10 years until 2018. However, once I picked it back up, I fell in love with the challenge and have since put away the traditional tackle and focused solely on honing in my fly fishing skills. I was determined to get the hang of it. This channel will be dedicated to showing how fly fishing can be fun for all species!
