Robert Burke, a practice-cased artistic researcher in jazz and improvisation is the Co-ordinator of Jazz and Popular Studies at Monash University. Rob has performed and composed on over 200 CDs and has toured extensively throughout Australia, Asia, Europe, and USA over the last 30 year. He has also released 10 CDs under his own name performing with artists including Tony Gould, Paul Grabowsky (Aus) George Lewis, Kenny Werner, Mark Helias, Nasheet Waits, Tom Rainey, Dave Douglas , Red Rodney, John Abercrombie, Paul McCandless, George Garzone (USA), Enrico Rava (Italy) Lula Galvao, and Hermeto Pascoal (Brazil).
Rob has also performed with many great Australian Musicians including: Kate Ceberano (8 Cds), Black Sorrows (10 Cds)
