There are many benefits to being an older mom, at least from where I stand.

• I know myself. Stability and confidence come standard.
• We aren’t growing up together—I’m guiding her.
• I have more answers than questions.
• I remember life before cell phones and constant scrolling… and that will shape her upbringing.
• I know that playing outside until the sun goes down is real therapy.
• I’ve lived. I’ve traveled. I’m not longing, I’m present 🤗.
• I’m healthier, more intentional, and my idea of aging has been completely flipped upside down.
• I don’t rush life anymore. I stay because I need to be here for her.

Older doesn’t mean less.
For me, it means more.
