The Washington Roast is an uncensored political roast comedy troupe in Washington, DC. The group previously know as The Constituents has been described by The Washington Post as “a bipartisan skewering.” Live shows feature local comedians battling in character as political figures from both sides of the aisle in a blend of standup, improv, and bipartisan bashing that is uniquely DC.

The act has been featured and listed among the best things to do in DC by The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Metro Weekly, DCist, Popville, 730 DC, and Yahoo.

Charity is at the core of the group’s mission. Proceeds from live shows have raised more than $7,000 for various causes.
