Mindseye is a record producer and visual artist from Aotearoa/New Zealand with Dutch roots. His music is a melodic blend of styles, samples and rhythms, weaving together elements from downtempo, organic house, and trip-hop as well as chillstep, psybient, and left-field hip-hop. His primarily instrumental tracks are often driven by the sounds of exotic instruments such as the handpan🎧
Mindseye draws inspiration from the great outdoors and from the many vibrant cultures he has encountered during his countless travels. He is especially passionate about everything coast and ocean-related, emphasized by his academic background as an Oceanographer 🌊
