Wednesday's video is SomaSound Sedating Static - made from a steady mid-frequency foundation with a natural breathing-like ebb and flow.

I've also layered in some more static-like textures to smooth away mental tension, helping to gently guide your nervous system toward a state of calm.

These very gently moving sounds are made to act as a subconscious cue to slow the heartbeat, breathing and to prepare the body for rest. I hope this one works well for you!

Sunday's video is Hypnotic Holographic Noise - in which there are many resonant sonic relationships - to bring a feeling of harmony and internal order to the listener.

It's built from Selenite Noise that gently fluctuates binaurally at a slow 1Hz rhythm, echoing the relaxed pace of a resting heartbeat. Within this, two subtly tuned Solfeggio frequencies - 528Hz and 417Hz - form a natural major third, creating a soft, hidden resonance that feels balanced and complete.

I don't think you'll be able to hear these consciously, although they are detectable if you have a very good ear and know which pitches you're looking for! To most, though, they're there just to create 'a vibe' - and they too are gently fluctuating at 1Hz.

Two further 1Hz patterns ripple through the layers, moving almost undetectably, like facets of a gemstone, catching the light from different angles yet remaining unified.

It's out at around 11pm UK time on Sunday - hope to see you then!

Friday's video is Tranquilmind Settling Rain - a soundscape designed to gently ease the mind and body into a state of natural rest. It’s made from Cream Noise, softly balanced above a Deep Velvet Bass, with a subtle breathing movement woven into the texture - a quiet rise and fall that encourages your own breath to follow a slow, restful rhythm without any conscious effort.

Layered within that are the soothing sounds of rain on trees and the forest floor, creating a sense of shelter and grounded safety.

It's coming out on Friday at around 2300 UK time - and I hope it works well for you!

Wednesday's video is Prismatic Parasympathetic Noise - which is a deep, continuous soundscape, created from multiple layered frequencies that gently fluctuate at the rhythm of relaxed breathing.

Each frequency moves in harmony with the others, forming a subtle, prismatic weave of tone and vibration designed to help the body and mind slow down, settle, and self-regulate.

My hope is that listening to these moving layers encourages your brain and body to entrain to that rhythm - activating parasympathetic balance and helping shift you from stress mode into deep relaxation.

Sunday's video is Mesmeric Melatonin Rain, which is composed of Deep Velvet Noise - smooth, cool, and softly enveloping - interwoven with the sound of rain on glass heard from outside.

Beneath the surface lies a hidden 6Hz fluctuation, a slow rhythm that mirrors the brain’s theta range - frequencies associated with drowsiness, dreamlike awareness, and the body’s natural transition into sleep.

This combination is made to evoke the quieting influence of melatonin, the hormone that signals to the body that it’s time to rest. The slow oscillation and muffled rain textures are there to simulate the sensory cues that encourage melatonin release in real life - darkness, predictability, coolness, and rhythmic sound - guiding the listener toward a state of deep safety and surrender...

Friday's video is Comforting Dopamine Detox Noise, made to gently bring an overstimulated mind back into balance.

It’s created from a grounding blend of Deep Velvet Noise with a subtle isochronic fluctuation that begins at 12Hz to match the frequency of an active, alert mind.

Then over the course of the first ten minutes, this rhythm imperceptibly slows to 4Hz, aligning with the delta-wave range associated with deep calm, rest, and pre-sleep states.

The aim is to guide the listener's nervous system into delta rhythms, which are linked with deep relaxation, restorative sleep, and dopamine regulation.

And the result, I hope, is a steady descent into calm, ideal for a “dopamine detox” - a mental rest from digital overstimulation, background noise, and constant input...

Wednesday's video is Somniphoric Rain - and I've called it that because my goal is that you're able to go to sleep feeling happy or at least calm and positive.

It's made from rainfall on a tranquil garden, blended with subtle 432 Hz “raindrops” that shimmer beneath the surface to create a sense of gentle harmonic warmth. (This is the sound of rain falling on an actual 432Hz singing bowl so it's very subtle but you can hear it).

Hidden within it is also a 1 Hz pulse - matching the rhythm of a calm, resting heartbeat, helping the body slow its tempo and find internal coherence.

Together, these layers form a sound environment that encourages parasympathetic activation - the body’s natural rest-and-digest response.

See how it works for you tomorrow...

Sunday's video is Vagus Veil Rain! It's built from Rich Navy Blue Noise with continual textural movement that mirrors the natural fluctuations of a calm, living body. Layered within is a binaural field of multi-frequency rain, designed to envelop the listener in a balanced, sensory cocoon.

For this one, I've taken inspiration from the functions of the vagus nerve, a key pathway in the body’s rest-and-digest system. This long, wandering nerve helps regulate heart rate, breathing, digestion, and emotional calm.

With the steady, gently shifting textures of the blue noise - combined with the rhythmic complexity of the rain - I'm hoping to help invite vagal activation, guiding the body away from alertness and toward safety, softness, and recovery...

Friday's video is Calming Brainwave Bliss - which is crafted from a soothing foundation of Dusty Pink Noise, continuously evolving in texture and depth to create a natural sense of gentle movement and spacious calm. Beneath the surface also lies a subtle 7.5Hz fluctuation - a frequency that sits within the Theta range - which is associated with sleep, meditation, and creativity.

This slow, rhythmic modulation and rich sound texture is aimed at helping guide the brain toward a deeply relaxed state, linked with bliss, balance, and emotional restoration.

The layered frequencies echo the rhythms found in the body’s own systems - breathing, heartbeat, and cellular oscillation - inviting a state of harmony between mind and body...

Wednesday's video is Adrenal Calming Amethyst Rain - a deeply soothing soundscape designed to help your body and mind unwind.

It’s created from Sparkling Amethyst Noise, subtly modulated with a hidden 1Hz fluctuation - a rhythm that gently mirrors a relaxed heartbeat. Layered with the soft ambience of Gentle Rain on Grass, it creates a natural, nurturing sound field that supports the body’s return to calm.

When the adrenals are overactive, our system can stay stuck in “alert mode,” making it hard to rest or focus. This blend encourages parasympathetic activation - helping to ease tension, slow the breath, and signal to your body that it’s safe to relax...
