I began singing at an early age, when I was 4 years old. I was always singing or dancing. Coming from an artistic family, my father a filmmaker, my mother a pianist, singer and family historian, whom I was raised by, probably, the biggest influence of all musically in my life. I remember, waking up each morning to her playing the piano, and she encouraged me to have music in my life every day. Although persuing and completing my degree in graphic design, there was still something plaguing me..my dream. Each time I would see a female singer/songwriter perform, I knew in my heart, that I wanted that to be me. From then on, born and raised in Utah, I made the big move to Los Angeles, originally where my family is from. I began performing open mic in Hollywood, Los Angeles. After recording my first single, I knew if I could record that one song, I'd be able to record many more to come.After living in LA for 5 years, I followed my heart once again and moved to San Francisco.
