Alonzo Brata is a young Indonesian vocalist (born 2003) with a rich baritone voice and diverse range of musical interests from jazz standard to synthwave. Known for his old soul, Alonzo from an early age was inspired by the great jazz artists and song stylists of the past such as Al Jarreau, Chet Baker, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, and Frank Sinatra to mention a few. Since he launched his career in early 2022, he has also caught the attention of many jazz musicians in Indonesia and mesmerized audience with his unique vocal timbre. His debut album produced by Winfrid Leonard, “Giant Baby Steps” received nomination for the “Best Jazz Album” by the AMI Awards (Indonesia Music Awards). A senior Indonesian musician, said that Alonzo is a young Frank Sinatra from Indonesia based on his vocal character.
His love for swing and jazz classics is Alonzo’s current focus, but he plans to explore other genres of music in the future.
