Eric Kamen World Music
I call my style of music “World Fusion” – a blend of Flamenco from Spain, the beautiful and enchanting melodies and percussion of the Middle East and North Africa, Rembetika from Greece and Turkey and, of course, R&B and Hip Hop from the USA.
While not intended to be a political statement, one can't help but notice how extraordinarily well the Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and pure American Pop R&B strains of music blend so well together. In a world so shattered by conflict, I hope that my music serves as a message about the unity of mankind and the universal language of music.
