So…..a small update.

I’m going to be off the internet for a little while. The other day, my stress levels went through the roof and I ended up having an depression episode. It has happened before last year. My episodes also tend to happen when I get introduced to certain characters from shows, movies, or games… (example: Husk). It’s usually when I relate to said character to a certain extent that the episode happens.

Anyways, I’m going to be taking it easy for a bit. I might return sometime next week but I don’t know yet.

Shizuku Okimoto

Shizuku is one of the recent members of the Cooking Club. She is a very confident girl who is very creative with her cooking. She can make just about anything out fridge into a meal, even if some of her meals look "questionable".

Despite being a good cook, she has a hard time making friends with anyone outside the Cooking Club. She tried to make friends by giving out samples of some of her dishes, but was not successful. This wasn't anything new to her.

Growing up, she always felt like she didn't belong anywhere. She had no friends to talk to. Even her own teachers would sometimes forget her name or forget her presence in class. This always made her feel sad. When she was in her last year of high school, she made friends with Inori Kasai.

For the first time, Shizuku felt like she belonged somewhere. Being able to make a friend with someone who loves cooking as much as she does, it filled her with confidence. Discovering this, she strived to confident in everything that she does. When she enrolled into Akademi, she immediately joined the Cooking Club, where she made friends with everyone there.

However, she still had trouble making friends outside the clubroom. One time, when she brough a sample to Shinji Saitozaki, she once again attempted to make friends with him. However, he quietly told her that he really doesn't want any company.

When she asked him why, he only gave a few words.

"It's not you, it's just you look..."

Before he could finish, he quietly thanked her for the food and walked off.

Shizuku was left confused. Why did he just run off like that? Was it something that she did or what? These questions were always in her head after that. She didn't know the reason, but she was relieved that it wasn't because of her inability to make friends.

However, she sometimes wonder if it was her appearance that made him run off. Regardless, she still was confident that she can make friends with him...someday.

Arisa Tanigawa

Arisa is a member of the Drama Club. She is known for her lead roles in every performance since high school. Despite her amazing acting skills, she is a bit of a gossip queen. When she isn't on stage, she is quietly gossiping about others behind their backs.

After enrolling into Akademi, she immediately auditioned for the lead role in the Drama Club. Impressing the club president, she was offered membership into the club and the lead role. Without hesitation, she took the offer.

Even then she still continued to gossip about everyone to the gossip-lovers of Akademi, including her best friend, who was the gossip columnist for the school's paper. Throughout the semester, she noticed a pattern in the disappearances of other students at school. Looking into it, she found out that majority of them were connected to one person, Shinji Saitozaki.

Knowing this, she didn't hesitate to spread gossip about him among her gossip-lovers, which spread rapidly through the school like fire. Despite being told to stop by the student council secretary, she continued to spread rumors, including the rumor of Shinji's twin sister, Sumire, being a "yandere".

One day, she found a note in her locker, telling her about a meeting on the roof. Curious about the topic mentioned in the note, she made her way up to the roof. When she walked through the doors to the roof, she was splashed by a water cooler full of brown paint. Somebody had pulled a prank on her, which filled her with disgust.

Not wanting anyone to see her in such a state, she ran to the locker room to quickly rinse off the paint. Upon changing to take a shower, she heard footsteps behind her. Before she could react, she was grabbed. All she heard were some words from a familiar voice.

"You targeted him. Now you will pay,"

The next day, her missing poster was placed among the other missing posters in the cafeteria.

Some fun facts about Crimson Petals!

Inori Kasai

Inori is the president of the Cooking Club and the childhood friend of Rei Amasawa. She always spent time with Rei, making them almost inseparable. However, due to Rei's cold nature and inability to care about anything other than science, the two slowly grew apart. Although they never stopped being friends, they weren't as close as they once were during high school.

When her family found out that she enrolled into Akademi, they were furious. They were highly concerned for her safety. However, Inori always claimed that she will be fine. Even though this calmed them down, they eventually convinced her older brother to enroll as well, in order to keep her safe. Despite his wishes, he deeply cares for his little sister's safety, so he agreed to enroll.

When Inori found out, she wasn't happy. She felt like she was being suffocated by the "overprotection" that her family was pushing towards her. She just wanted to be free of that feeling and be herself, without the constant pressure of her family.

After finding out that she was enrolled, she immediately told Rei about it. She was shocked to find out that she was also enrolled at the same school. Knowing this, she felt like this could be another chance of them being close friends again. Despite Rei's usual neutral demeanor about other things that wasn't science, Inori felt like Rei, deep down, still welcomed her presence.

At the start of the semester, Inori noticed something different about Rei. She seemed more warm than usual. She wasn't as cold as she used to be. Seeing this change, Inori felt like Rei was becoming a better person; somebody who wants to be involved in others activities. This made her feel a sigh of relief, know that her close friend was still there.

Little does she know, that Rei's change of nature was from meeting a certain boy.

Smells like poor writing, which doesn’t surprise me, since it’s diddydev who announced the “canon” facts about her.
