GOV360
GOV360 is a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-partisan organization dedicated to reaching out directly to non-voters of all ages, and open a dialogue about their obstacles to active participation in government, particularly on a local level.
- Average voter turnout in bi-annual Congressional primaries = 10%.
- Average turnout in mid-term general elections is less than 38% (since 1972).
- Currently 75% of the voting age population in the U.S. is registered to vote, but 25% of registered GOP, 55% of registered Democrats and 85% of Independents rarely or never vote.
