I'm Amir, a Doctor of Chemistry, Materials, and a certified DABT Toxicologist with extensive experience in skincare, cosmetic formulations, and medical device materials.

In this channel, I educate you about the "how" and "why" behind the ingredients used for skincare and cosmetic products.

Just after I finished my Ph.D. in 2020, my mother experienced a kitchen fire, burning her face and body.

This unfortunate incident led to my collaboration with a dermatologist where I formulated custom products for my mother.

Thankfully, her face recovered free of scars; her caution to avoid the sun and follow guidelines made the products work :)

Now, as a skincare chemist and primary user, I'd like to share my knowledge with you, helping you make educated decisions for product selections
