I’m Lexi, a 29 year old wife and mama to one living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My husband and I homestead on a small but mighty 3-acre property with about 3,200 square feet of usable land.
In our space, I raise chickens, keep bees, and grow a garden, with hopes of expanding with a green house, a pumpkin patch, and maybe more animals in the future. I run a sourdough micro-bakery from our home, preserve food through canning and freeze-drying, and love cooking and baking from scratch. When I’m not in the kitchen or garden, you’ll find me crocheting and creating my own patterns, or playing with makeup which has always been a passion of mine.
If it’s something your grandma loves to do, I probably do too. I’ve always loved these simple, old fashioned, “homestyle” traditional skills and decided to document them and bring you along. I’m so glad you’re here and hope you’ll subscribe and follow along on our journey 🤍
