'TARAKI' is an Ilokano/Igorot term widely used in the Cordillera region, Philippines, to refer to a person (male/female) who is good-looking or with pleasing personality. 

'TARAKI' not only focuses on the outer aspect of a person but most importantIy, the inner aspect - emotional and psychological aspect or a having a strong will/determintation.
"Uray kasano kinapintas mo weno kinagwapom nu awan tartarakim, di awan metlang sirbi na". (It's no use that you're handsome or beautiful if you don't have a strong will).
