When he was still a US Senator, President Obama assured the world: Allowing Japan to continue commercial whaling is unacceptable.

Under his lead at a recent whaling conference in Lisbon lead experts, who are not quack scientists, diplomats and lawyers said there is growing consensus on:

Banishing whale culling in the name of phony science

and creating a South Atlantic whale sanctuary.

The European Parliament said:
Whaling for scientific purposes should be banned,
The current International Whaling Commission (IWC) moratorium on commercial whaling should be strengthened,
Special fishing gear to avoid by-catches should be used and
Sonar activities should be restricted.


It is time for Japan to say goodbye to its commercial whaling under the disguise science, science of charlatans.
