In today's fast-paced, convenience-driven world, plastics have taken over, fueled by the ever-growing demand for products. But the hidden cost of this convenience is a crisis that threatens our planet and future generations. Imagine a world where plastic waste piles up, lasting longer than any of us. The below is our small effort in trying to help the situation.
In America, the plastic recycling scene can be confusing and difficult. For example, did you know that curbside recycling does not accept plastic bags? But... grocery stores do provide plastic bags recycling. HOWEVER, not all types of plastic bags can be recycled in the grocery stores too!

PORTLANDERS, did you know you may be liable to pay these metro taxes depending on where your home address is.
1. SHS (Supportive Housing Service) Tax
2. MULTCO PFA (Multnomah County Preschool For All) Tax
3. Portland Arts tax
These taxes are not handled by major softwares like TurboTax, so don't get in trouble with metro, learn what these taxes are and how to pay them. Happy tax filing! :)

On November 2020, I decided to start a youtube channel to help share my experience and knowledge. The target audience I had in mind was someone who is in my shoes 10 years ago, leaving home for the first time or someone who is just starting out in the working world.
The Kind Jujubes youtube channel was then born. After more than 2 years of making content that ranged from beginner vegetarian cooking videos to beginner finance tips in the USA, I am happy to share that more than 1000 folks have subscribed!
I am floored and humbled, I know that within the 1000, are a lot of my family, friends, and colleagues. I just want to give a shout-out and thank you for the time and support you have generously given me. I hope my videos helped you in any small way possible!
To celebrate this small milestone, I have donated $50, on behalf of all 1000 (and more) subscribers of the Kind Jujubes channel to Charity Water, a nonprofit organization that works to provide clean drinking water to developing nations all over the world.
