I'm a huge believer in super low-carb or carnivore eating to avoid and heal disease.
I've fought with type 2 for 19 years... On and off low carb.
I find if I eat any carbs at all I'm constantly wanting more.
Now 6 weeks full carnivore... Meat and eggs only. I no longer crave carbs. My numbers still need to fully normalize but it's better every day!
Was vegan/vegetarian for years and NEVER felt this well!!!

Every year it's the same story.
Thanksgiving becomes an excuse to destroy yourself for a day.
Overeat until you can't move.
Load up on sugar and processed carbs.
Then spend Friday feeling like garbage.
They call it tradition.
I call it self-sabotage.
Here's what they don't tell you: You can enjoy Thanksgiving AND respect your body.
Real turkey. Real vegetables. Real food that actually nourishes you.
You don't need the rolls. You don't need three desserts. You don't need to eat until you're in pain.
That's not celebration. That's punishment.
At 72, I'll sit down tomorrow to a meal that fuels me, not one that requires recovery.
Peggy and I will eat well. We'll be grateful. And Friday morning we'll wake up strong, not sluggish.
Because one day of bad choices leads to a weekend of bad choices. Then a week. Then you're back where you started.
The system wants you to binge. To feel guilty. To need their pills and their programs in January.

Real food doesn’t need marketing.
