Duringย its thirteen years of activity,ย Yamma Ensembleย has become the world's leading group for oriental Jewish & Hebrew music.
The members of the ensemble bring to the forefront their parents and grandparentsย music traditions fromย Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Bukhara and old Sefarad. They play ancient instruments (duduk, ney, kopuz, oud, shofar)ย which were used thousands years ago.
The impressive performance forย Psalm 104ย has become the most viewed video of a Jewish chant (trad. played live) and made the group popular on social networks.
