Pre Polar is a Los Angeles sound designer and low frequency enthusiast.
Pre Polar is a musical effort consisting of deeply chilled sonic movements in a dark cinematic style. Pre Polar’s formative years were spent in the forests and farmland of northern Wisconsin contemplating snow. Later playing in a wide variety of bands including the great Wisconsin band Redhorse and followed with several others in the Chicago area including Surreal Banshee, Draw and working as a bass for hire in Indie bands. Drawn to electronic ambient music after first hearing it on late night college radio. Now residing in California, and by channeling the cold winter landscape memories of his youth, this artist is progressing the subtle art of ambient electronic music towards a unique destination.
