HIV Woman!
Hi! My name is Lisa Faye! I come as God told me too. If I didn’t have the Lord on my side, I would be a nervous wreck. In 2003 I was diagnosed with HIV. Infected by an ex-boyfriend. From then on, I prayed and asked God to help educate me and give me strength, knowledge and courage to do His will. The same year of my diagnosis I started sharing my testimony. God gave me that strength. I’ve done a lot of speaking including in the December 2006 Essence Magazine, 2006 New York Times Newspaper and on the Rickey Smiley Radio Show for World AIDS Day in 2011. Inspired by my friend Minister Richardson I started my own radio show on LOVE 860 AM in Ga. God empowered me to continue educating the world that HIV is not a death sentence. So, I’m here to help support and be a Peer Counselor and Motivational Speaker to anyone who needs support.
