The Hill - From Philadelphia, PA, The Hill is a project founded upon the songs of Jon Kowit, a former record store employee and indie record label owner. Kowit had written music for decades, but never played them publicly until 2024. The debut album, The Hill "Get In Line" was born after Kowit reconnected with multi-instrumentalist Mike Slo-Mo Brenner (Jason Molina, Wild Pink, Susan Werner, Marah, Aaron West & The Roaring Twenties), who agreed to collaborate on one song. The sessions lead to a 12-song album that includes contributions from some of the best musicians in Philadelphia. The two continue to work on songs for a follow-up (expected in the summer of 2025). A single "Let This Storm Pass," was released early from the upcoming LP, "Noble Station." A new single "See You There" will be released on May 16, 2025.
