A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC, and Associates in Applied Science (AAS) - Nursing and Respiratory Care from Odessa College in Odessa, TX. She was trained as a simulation specialist at Stanford University’s Center for Advanced Pediatric Education (CAPE) and Harvard’s Institute for Medical Simulation and holds certification as a healthcare simulation educator (CHSE).
