Musician, born in Tokyo. He started to play classic guitar at the age of 10.
He joined Nihon University College of Art to major in Faculty of Music where he studied psychoacoustics, acoustic analysis amongst other interests, that eventually lead him to start composing music for experimental performances and orchestal pieces.Since graduation, he has been working in composing music for movies, TV commercials, websites and other sound designs such as; electronic money interface sounds for Seven & i Holdings Co., sound development for YAMAHA and other corporate identity sounds.His practices have also extended to fields such as music for an exhibition at Salone del Mobile Milano, sound installation art and various collaborations with other artists. Since 2015 he has been producing music pieces under a moniker QUKO, as an electronic artist. In 2016, with his philosophy on soundscapes, started a sound branding agency “SoundscapeDesignLab”.
