UPDATE

Good news and Bad news.

Bad news: The continuation of my last video will not release. I was informed of some legal complexities that I'm not willing to deal with right now. It's a bummer to work on something and not be able to post it, so I share your frustrations.

Good news: I've been working on another short video that should release soon. (Estimating end of this month)

More good news: For those of you that have been following me for a while, you should know that I've always been cursed on YouTube when it comes to monetization. Combining that reality, with my tendency for only making time-consuming videos, has resulted in YouTube only ever being a hobby.

With that in mind I want to try something different for 2022, but I need your trust.

For the first time I plan to post every month or two.
They will be "compiled reaction style" videos which are quicker to produce.
In the meantime, I will be making more of what you're used to. Cinematic and professional projects (much more to my enjoyment) that I will post once or twice a year.

Up until now my videos have essentially been "best moments of the year" culminations. If you think my videos are decent, it's probably only because I filter out a lot. I'm critical and inefficient. I'm lame.

This is why posting more WILL affect the quality; An inevitability I've always feared.

Take comfort in knowing this will be entirely experimental. My priority has been, and always will be, about only making videos worth watching, respecting your time, and keeping things interesting and fresh.

All I ask is this:

If I get boring....tell me.
If you find yourself no longer excited for uploads...
If I'm not proficient in balancing quality/quantity...
If you prefer the channel to head in a different direction...

The goal for 2022 is trying wild new things and seeing what works without losing your interest.

YouTube algorithm has decided to avoid recommending it to viewers even though the retention and CTR are higher than all of my past videos.

It makes expensive and time consuming productions like these very difficult and generally disheartening knowing it's kept hidden from viewers.

Your positive reviews, your shares, and general appreciation has been extraordinary, however, so thank you. seriously, thank you! (I teared up at some of the support)



I avoided linking my Patreon in the video because the economy is uncertain at the moment, but to my surprise people in the comments have been sharing the link to those that have inquired. (I can't fathom the generosity)

I will update the page with behind and deleted scenes to hopefully keep you satisfied until the next major upload.

Also, I would be remiss if I did not take time to bring up what is currently happening in Nigeria. As you know my character is heavily inspired by the region. There isn't much that can be done from our positions, but given the theme of this channel, we should all know what is going on and condemn it. If you are not aware please read up on the subject so we can support any pending action to stop it.


Lastly, I would like to introduce myself for a change. I have always valued my privacy online because my content invites a lot of challenges to DOX me lol, but I'd enjoy making that distinction from my characters.

My name is Khalil. I consider myself an American because I was born in the U.S. However my parents are both African born. I'm a mix of Northern African countries, Algeria and Sudan mostly, from my understanding. In terms of religion I support any part, of any religion, that encourages positive and illuminating things. I may start a separate channel where I'll be more personal and post more off-the-cuff content.

As an update:
This last video was my first experience with proper monetization. Many of you supported me by encouraging more ads and I am beyond grateful. It really made a difference.
Unfortunately after the 3rd day the video has become essentially demonetized showing little to no ads, and drastically limiting it's appearance on recommendations.... but none of this is new.

Regardless, the little time it had running smoothly made it well worth the 100+ hours it took to gather reactions/edit, so I am very happy with that.

At the end of the day, my main goal is to make the best content I can make. That is why I have always chosen to upload good content when I am financially able to, instead of bombard you with garbage on a daily basis for money.

That does not mean I do not want to upload more... and If I'm properly monetized the first few days of each video, I could potentially afford to do so.

On that note, I have some game-changing content on the way. I have invested a lot of money into something that will revolutionize this genre and make my content even better. I've never been more excited to make videos than I am now. It will hopefully blow you all away.

Stay tuned for this in the coming month or two... before then I'd like to post some fun content leading up to it if you guys are willing.
