Bad news: The continuation of my last video will not release. I was informed of some legal complexities that I'm not willing to deal with right now. It's a bummer to work on something and not be able to post it, so I share your frustrations.
Good news: I've been working on another short video that should release soon. (Estimating end of this month)
More good news: For those of you that have been following me for a while, you should know that I've always been cursed on YouTube when it comes to monetization. Combining that reality, with my tendency for only making time-consuming videos, has resulted in YouTube only ever being a hobby.
With that in mind I want to try something different for 2022, but I need your trust.
For the first time I plan to post every month or two. They will be "compiled reaction style" videos which are quicker to produce. In the meantime, I will be making more of what you're used to. Cinematic and professional projects (much more to my enjoyment) that I will post once or twice a year.
Up until now my videos have essentially been "best moments of the year" culminations. If you think my videos are decent, it's probably only because I filter out a lot. I'm critical and inefficient. I'm lame.
This is why posting more WILL affect the quality; An inevitability I've always feared.
Take comfort in knowing this will be entirely experimental. My priority has been, and always will be, about only making videos worth watching, respecting your time, and keeping things interesting and fresh.
All I ask is this:
If I get boring....tell me. If you find yourself no longer excited for uploads... If I'm not proficient in balancing quality/quantity... If you prefer the channel to head in a different direction... Email me or reach out with your concerns so I can adjust accordingly.
The goal for 2022 is trying wild new things and seeing what works without losing your interest.
