The main goal of this channel is to highlight the very first appearance to Billboard's American Top 40 of the biggest artists of the 70s and the 80s, as introduced by the incomparable Casey Kasem.

You'll hear the very first mention of such greats as Elton John, David Bowie. Prince and ABBA from the 70s, and Madonna, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi and U2 from the 80s, and some not-so-greats. So, in all, over 80 'first appearance' artists will be introduced on this channel. And, where possible, more information about each artist or their songs will be added to their "first mentions" as recorded from subsequent airings of AT40.

There will also be a host of some 200+ "extras".
