UGA Institute for Disaster Management

The Institute for Disaster Management at the UGA College of Public Health is committed to furthering research, knowledge and training as it relates to emergency management throughout the state of Georgia, the United States and globally.

As part of the College of Public Health, the Institute teaches in-person disaster management (DMAN) courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, offering one of the only Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees with a specific concentration in disaster management, a graduate certificate, and an undergraduate minor.
