Born in Lusaka on October 18, 1984, Andish discovered the guitar at 17 while at Praise Christian Centre International. His talent quickly gained recognition, earning him Best Guitarist at the 2016 Zambia Music Awards.
His debut album Stories & Laughter (2020) blends African rhythms with vibrant jazz, preserving culture while embracing Afro-pop. He has since released Twimbe, Ngina, Grateful Heart, David Andish EP, and Unbroken Praise – Chapter One, each showcasing his fusion of African sounds, jazz, and gospel.
Beyond performing, Andish is a dedicated producer and educator, rooted in Zambia’s rich musical heritage. He has collaborated with renowned artists like Hill St. Soul, El Mukuka, Mag 44, Kiki, Roberta, and Sakala Brothers.
