Hi, I’m Yasu, fishing in France.

I enjoy applying techniques from Japanese and French fishing—such as black bass, seabass, and mountain stream fishing—to target various fish species found in France.

On this channel, I share my fishing experiences in France at my own pace, and sometimes introduce my tackle and gear.

Fish you may see:

Northern Pike, European Perch, Zander, European Catfish (Wels), Brown Trout, and European Seabass.

I mainly fish with lures and run a small online fishing shop in France:

My fishing style is mostly catch and release, so I usually fish barbless. I prefer single or twin hooks, as fewer hook points make the fight more exciting and enjoyable for me.

I’m still learning a lot about fishing for French species, so this channel is about trial and error.
