Dutch people who all took the big step by settling in Australia tell their story in my show. Most of the stories are success stories as Dutch people accomplish a lot in this new homeland.
I wanted to make these stories to give examples how succesfull you still can integrate and keep your Dutchness(and language) as well. In an earlier generation it was quite normal to loose the language and culture of your homeland. I believe it is important to know and to keep your culture in your new homeland for forming an identity and give that also to your children and of course be part of the Australian community. See it as your home base. Dutch community as your family and the Australian friends as your friends, so you are creating a safe place to live.
