Marco Carluccio (vocals/keyboards/composer/author) and Johnny Pizzuto (keyboards/composer) formed Nemesy in 1980. Influenced by Vangelis Papathanassiou, a founding member of Aphrodite's Child, they aimed to conquer Europe with their innovative sound. They quickly gained recognition in Italy, signing with prestigious labels like Bootlegs, CGD, and EMI. Collaborating with renowned sound engineer Paolo Bocchi, they released their debut single "I Wanna Dance" in 1984, a groundbreaking dance track arranged by Marcello Quartarone. The song's avant-garde production and European mix contributed to its widespread success. Subsequently, Nemesy recorded an album and various singles, including "Arabian Sacrifice," "Touch," "You Can You Can," “24 Hours” and "We Play The Music".
