Federation of disability organizations in Malawi ( FEDOMA) is an umbrella body of organizations of persons with disabilities in MalawI, formed in 1999 and legally registered in 2001.The aim is to unify, coordinate and strengthening efforts and advocacy work of it's affiliates for well being of persons with disabilities. Since it's establishment ,FEDOMA has 12 affiliates (Association of persons with Albinisms in Malawi, Association of persons with physical disabilities in Malawi, Disabled widows and orphans organization of Malawi, Disabled women in development, Malawi Association of the deaf, Malawi Union of the blind ,Mental Health Users and cares association, Parents of disabled children association of Malawi ,National Epilepsy association, Spinal injuries association of Malawi and Visual Hearing Impairment Membership Association.
The platform is here to share and give more light on issues of persons with disabilities in Malawi.
