The Grupo Traditional Cayambe was founded in 1992, under the direction of maestro Camilo Torres P. who is the author and composer of most of the songs they performed, these songs have been the basis for what today has become the new rhythm of popular Cayambeña music since the original recordings were orchestrated, giving it new sounds, greater speed and increased non-traditional instruments, resulting in a new very catchy and party rhythm. "Rosita Flores" was her first voice from the beginning, today she is a consecrated Ecuadorian artist who includes several of the recorded themes in her repertoire.
Seven musical productions were made, four on CD, and three on audio cassette, from 1992 to 2003.
