Wanted to drop a tiny lil update here, firstly if you enjoyed the last video I've made a little follow-up to it on the second channel. There's a set near the end of that last vid I made fun of even though I didn't own it, so someone brought it for me and I "reviewed" it, was a fun time.
Secondly, if you HATE the last video (or you're just not a lego person) then I wanted to give a quick heads-up and mention that the script for the next video is done! I'm probably gonna keep quiet about the topic since I wanna keep it a surprise, but I'll at least say that it's a fighting game video in the style of the Sean and Twelve video. Thanks for the support and the patience as always, stay tuned!
It's been a hot minute since I said anything here and the start of the month feels like a good time to do something about that, just wanted to drop by and say that even though it's taking longer than expected the next Pokémon video is coming along nicely and it shouldn't be super far off. I can't promise a date or anything but I've had a really productive couple of days after being in a bit of a slump, so I'm feeling good about it!
If you want a lil sneak peak, there's about 10 mins of it available for free over on the Patreon. Sorry all this is taking me so long, I was really hoping to go about this a lil quicker and maybe even finally get around to the Tomodachi Life Season 3 supercut before Living the Dream dropped, but I just genuinely couldn't swing it. Still, I'm really happy with the video so far, so thanks as always for your continued patience and support! :)
Hey gang, wanted to drop by real quick and mention a couple things. First of all, the response on the last video on Sean and Twelve has been amazing so far, but if you're interested I did make a little follow-up to it on the second channel! There was a lot of info regarding the two of them I wanted to share but couldn't really find a place for, so this covers a lot of random trivia along those lines plus a couple things I missed. I'll drop the link in the comments if you wanna check it out!
Other than that I mainly just wanna wish everyone a pretty late Happy New Year! I didn't put a ton out this year video-wise, which admittedly also happened in 2024, but I don't feel as bad about it this time honestly. I'm really happy with what I did manage to make, the Dragon Type video in particular is maybe my favourite video I've ever made, and even if I did slow down a little with my creative output, I did kinda move to a whole other country which has been incredible, but also a pretty tough adjustment at times for sure. Also I hit 100k subs, which is undeniably pretty cool, thanks for that (:
Either way I'm feeling really good about 2026, I took a lil break after the last video to visit the family and stuff but I'm gonna start locking in on writing the next big video. It's another big RBY video on a topic I'm particularly excited to finally tackle, but after this vid I think I'll finally get around to tackling some of my more out there topics. I feel another Worms 3D video brewing, and also I REALLY need to stop putting off the supercut of Tomodachi Life Season 3. I do also wanna quickly thank everyone for being extremely cool about me pushing my Patreon and Ko-fi in my recent vids, I've considered it for a while now but always worried about the response, but it's been really well received, and I appreciate the support a ton especially now that I've moved out and don't want to do sponsored stuff.
As always, thanks for reading and thanks a ton for all the support! I hope you all have a good year and look forward to whatever I've got cooking, and hopefully maybe I get around to that Ace Attorney vid I kinda promised I'd make last year oops
Hey everyone, dropping by to give another quick update on the next video. I'm still a bit behind where I'd like to be with it but I did want to mention here that there's currently two short previews for it publicly available on my Patreon! They're not paywalled or anything, but I'm gonna be away for about a week so I figured having something like that would be kinda fun to tide people over if they're interested.
If you're down for about 10 minutes of Dragon-related yapping then you can check it out! I pretty promise I'll lock in when I get back, I'm really happy with the vid so far but I've defo pretty slow about getting it done, there's so much other stuff I wanna make but I know I should try and focus on this for the time being.
Either way I hope you enjoy it if you check it out and again apologies for the wait, I would just link the preview but I'm pretty sure Youtube is one of the sites that beats your ass visibility-wise if you link stuff, so navigating all that is on you buddy sorry you're gonna have to take that up with John Youtube
Dropping by to give a quick update on how stuff is going since I've only really talked about where I'm at post-move on stream and patreon and such. The tl:dr is that for most part, moving to Stockholm went pretty well! Had a few shenanigans here and there and it's all been a lil slower than I anticipated, but overall it's been a great experience!
Work on the next video has been a little slower than I'd wanted, and it's also BIGGER than I wanted but I'm getting back into the groove of things. It's a video covering a specific type in RBY, something people have been asking for for a bit. It's looking like it's gonna be about 50 mins long and it's gonna be a bit before it's done, but I'm really happy with it so far! It's been too long since I made any serious RBY stuff so it's been getting back into the swing of things.
The plan right now is that once this vid is done, I wanna make another 3rd Strike video. I'm still kinda blown away with the reception to the last video, and it's really got me pumped about playing and talking about the game again. I might also maybe do a follow-up to 'Who is RBY UU's Best Social Drinker?' first though cause that was pretty cool and fun too.
Either way, apologies for being a lil slow getting new stuff out, but I promise it's gonna be worth it and thanks as always for enjoying what I do! The last video actually pushed a lot of my older ones pretty hard, and that's been kind of a lifesaver giving how expensive moving has been, so thank you all so much again for the support! (:
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick update on what I'm gonna be getting up to soon! The response to the new video has been amazing so far which I'm super thankful for, but it's also nice to see cause it's gonna be my last video before I move to Stockholm in just a couple days. I'm really excited but obviously Ireland to Sweden is a preeetty big jump so it might take a while before I'm properly settled in and can start working on a new video.
That being said I think in the long run it's gonna be good for my productivity, so I wouldn't worry too much. I wouldn't be able to do this move at all if it wasn't for all of your support, since this has kinda been my primary source of income the last few years. I can't thank all of you enough and I'm really looking forward to picking up the pace and making cool new stuff as soon as I can! I might also end up streaming a lil more, I've been aiming for twice a week for the longest time but I might maybe do the odd three day week depending on how things go.
Thanks again for enjoying what I do, and also while I'm leaving for Stockholm very soon, I am gonna be making a lil detour for a pretty big fighting game event called Headstomper in Malmö before properly moving in, so if you also happen to be going to that say hi and I'll probably tell you about unused content in Worms 3D or something
Quick heads up, I'll finally be dropping a new fighting game video later today! It's similar in structure to the Slow Attacks and Orbs in Fighting Games videos, so I hope you enjoy it!
Apologies for the long wait on this, I was planning to release the Pokémon Red Randomizer Supercut next, but after working on it for a lil over a month I just kinda wasn't feeling it, so I just put it on hold and made something else! It's about 60% done, so hopefully it won't take super long once I get back to it.
There was also that big ol storm that took out my power for a week but that was lowkey kinda chill
Wanted to stop by and wish everyone a Happy New Year! Personally I think 2024 was really great for me, I think this was the first year where I'm still extremely happy with every video I made, I've had a wonderful time streaming and saw a pretty substantial jump in growth on both Twitch and the 2nd channel, and this was easily my best year in terms of travelling to events and connecting with people, including meeting my partner. It's been a wonderful year and I can't thank all of you enough for that!
I will say that while I'm extremely happy with all the videos I made this year, I'm a little disappointed I didn't make more. Obviously the quality of the videos is way more important, but ever since finishing the RBY OU video I really feel like my productivity went down the drain. I was hoping both of the videos I made after that would be a lil more chill to work on and wouldn't take super long, but I found both pretty tough surprisingly, and progress on the Pokémon Red Randomizer Supercut is also a lil slower than I'd like. I'm not too torn up about it cause at the end of the day I'd rather slowly make things I actually want made than churn out whatever, but I'm hoping I can get myself together a bit more regardless.
One other thing I'm hoping I can fix is the diversity of the topics I cover in my vids, I'm really glad I got to make stuff like the Pikmin video and more Worms stuff, but I was really hoping to touch on Ace Attorney this year, and I'm REALLY disappointed I only made a single fighting game video. I'm super happy with said vid, but there's so much I wanted to talk about that I just didn't feel I could actually get a decent video out of. It's something I'll defo try and work on.
Still, despite a bit of a slump near the end I'm still really happy with how things have gone this year, and having that slump only makes me wanna do even better in 2025! It's gonna be a really eventful year for me, since on top of working on vids and streams I'm also planning to move to Sweden and live on my own for the first time. It's a lil spooky but I'm also super excited and I'm pretty certain it'll do a lot for my productivity and work/life balance in general.
That's pretty much everything I wanted to say, thanks again for a wonderful year and I'm looking forward to whatever the next one brings!
Also, Golduck just dropped to PU in RBY. that's pretty bananas I hope Pinsir gets them
Wanted to drop a little update and say thanks for recently hitting 95K subscribers, that's really huge for me so I do wanna thank everyone for their support and just generally checking out what I get up to, it means a ton (:
It's nothing huge but as a lil bonus I dropped a preview of the Pokémon Red Randomizer Supercut on my Patreon, it's not behind a paywall or anything, that's just where it is. I've had it on the backburner for ages now and while it's not what I'm planning to put out next, I'll probably get back to chipping away at it soon enough!
In slightly more unfortunate news, I've come down with some kind of tooth infection that's left my face kinda swollen and messed up. I'm getting it checked real soon and it doesn't hurt at all, but I do look pretty stupid so there's a chance I might not be able to record anything for a bit. Worst case scenario I just focus on the supercut and maybe miss a week or two of streams though, so I should be alright!
That's all from me, thanks again, have a good one and pray the dentist only beats me up a little bit
I usually keep all my stream related announcements to the second channel but I wanted to quickly mention that tomorrow, Oct 19th at around 2pm BST I'll finally be streaming the first part of Tomodachi Life Season 3! Season 2 concluded over a year ago, so I think it's well due for a comeback.
I know the people who do like the Tomodachi streams REALLY like them, so I figured it'd be worth mentioning here. I only stream on Twitch at BigYellowYT but the VOD will be on my second channel if that suits you more, like Season 1 and 2 these streams will get their own supercut eventually, but that'll be pretty far down the line since I still gotta finish the one for my Pokémon Red Randomizer!
