Although many people might have a contrary view, in my opinion, Option buying is a high reward - limited risk game as long as one has a good control over his/ her emotion. Unlike any other business or even other trading methods like option selling, option buying has 3 main advantages: 1- The max loss is the premium paid 2- Less capital requirement and 3 - scalability. I have tried option selling, swing trading, futures trading etc for the past 3+ years. Even though I like futures trading, the high commission makes it a bit unattractive. So I generally do only option buying that too only in Nifty. Even though initially I used many indicators, now I am just using price action. The secret is to understand that this is a probability game - nobody can be 100% sure. Have a plan, decide an entry, SL and profit - ALWAYS STICK TO IT.
