Hello everyone,
I'm Masato Morishige, a DJ based in Nagoya, Japan. For over a decade, I've been producing the "HAUSTEK" party and running the "OTOTOOLrec" label.
I believe that DJing is an incredibly noble profession that brings happiness to all. It's a highly creative endeavor, where you blend the music of talented artists to craft a unique atmosphere.
However, one day, I pondered what truly constitutes originality, and one answer that emerged was improvisation. Like a jazz session, I create complete music pieces on the spot by weaving together different sounds, and I was deeply inspired by this style of mixing.
I understand that DJs who share my values are a minority, but I hold dear those moments of inspiration when crafting what I consider original music. I'm committed to pursuing originality further, and I'd be delighted to share the GROOVE with all of you.
