This technique is mostly applied to the fabrics of cotton fiber, silk, leather, and yarn from animal fur. Totally this Eco- friendly printing is done through the absorption of pigments from the plant to create a vibrant color and that coloring result will give a certain color to the cellulose fibers, without coloring the whole thread with the technique of pounding, steaming, bake in the oven and boiling. Lastly, we used alum and rust water. I believe that if you can achieve the most amazing prints and colors just by using natural elements which don’t harm our planet in any way then toxic dyes should never be considered. Natural dyeing is a very slow process, but that’s the beauty of it. Learn to slow down and just look around you, observe what nature is doing, try to understand it, feel it, love, respect and protect it. An eco print can never be repeated, because every leaf on is different, even the two sides of that leaf are different. I like that though n I’ll let you think about it.
