Teresa Kiplinger is an interdisciplinary artist combining original poetry, illustration, and metalsmithing to create haunting and expressive art jewelry. Inspired by personal experiences of isolation, anxiety, and loss, her modern memento mori jewelry calls us to consider the fragility of existence. Working with precious metals, glass, and polymer clay, she employs multiple techniques to render her works including vitreous enameling, hand engraving, etching, and chasing and repoussé. Most recently she has added intaglio printmaking to her artistic repertoire, creating limited fine art prints of her engravings and then setting the plates into jewelry. Teresa holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Kent State University (1992). In 2025, she launched the podcast, Artsy Types, with her childhood friend and co-host, Joy. She works out of her studio near Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and her limited jewelry collections are available through her website.
