This channel is to promote the long lost food recipes of Mithila and Bihar and bring back the authenticity and taste of the enriched "Mithila Cuisine". Mithila region comprises of certain parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and adjoining districts of Nepal. Mithila or Mithilanchal is famous for its Cuisine, Madhubani Paintings . Culturally enriched from ancient times, Mithilanchal is linked to kingdom of King Janak, father of Sita ji.

I am from Mithila, live in London, UK for decades now. I realised that many in my generation don't even know to cook the finger licking nutritious food of Mithila. Hence I have started this channel for people in India or abroad who miss home cooked Mithila food. This is my way to give back to community and bring back Mithila ke khaan paan.
