The Persephane Pendrake Chronicles is a nine book, three trilogy series. Book One is The Cimaruta.
The series starts with Persephane and her 'partner-in-crime' Thaddeus at thirteen and fourteen years old, the first step in maturity for Magical Folk, being told of their mutual mission.
Melanthios, a dark and black-hearted witch is attempting to collect the 9 Magical Objects, which if she is successful will establish her as the "All Powerful One" and enable her to reign over our world, inflicting misery and evil on all. The first book introduced our heroine and hero and their familiars, Benson a dragonfly with serious attitude and P-C and lovable, but far from brave dragon.
