The Center for Wooden Boats is a quintessential Seattle grass-roots institution thriving these past 32 years on the passion of thousands of volunteers. CWB offers a variety of artifacts, exhibits, classes and hands-on experiences to help the areas maritime heritage come alive. With more than 120 historic small craft on display on the south shore of Lake Union, and a growing fleet of period boats on Camano Island, CWB continues to follow our mission to provide a gathering place where maritime history comes alive through direct experience and our small craft heritage is enjoyed, preserved, and passed along to future generations.
