Staying fit at 60

I’m 60 years old and I want to stay as young as possible as I get older.

That means staying physically strong and mentally flexible. I don’t want to get stuck in my ways, rigid in my thinking, scared of change, or settled into what feels safe.

I want to be able to run, lift weights, sit on the floor and get up easily, stand on one leg to take my socks off, and go down the stairs without holding the handrail. I want to keep the same waist size I had at 25 — and keep the energy to do the things I love.
