Youtube's Wet-on-wet artist, or alla prima, the painting technique in which layers of wet paint are applied to previous layers of wet paint. This technique requires a fast way of working, because the work has to be finished before the first layers have dried. In recent years the wet-on-wet has become well known as the primary method of painting used by such television artists as Bill Alexander, Bob Ross, and Robert Warren. I take advantage of the technique giving me freedom to improvise and mix wet paint on a canvas. Starting from a clear idea rather than commonly limited themes being used by wet-on-wet artists. The idea is the most important aspect in my art but only together with the free athmosphere that only wet-on wet can give I can achive the results that I want.
