the i between us formed in 2018 in federal prison by Brandon Torres, Dacota Rogers, and Andrew Mitchell. It was a dark period for us, but not the worst. We got to sit around and make music while people in the world were working all day. We had no choice but to lock in and make as much music as possible. It was the only thing to do.

Dacota was serving an 18-year sentence, but only ended up doing a little over 9. Brandon was serving a 10-year term and completed about 7 and a half. They got out early from changes enacted during Trump's first term. Sadly, Andrew is incarcerated still. We were all in on drug crimes.

With Dacota and Brandon out, we are determined to prove the time wasn't wasted. The only thing we wanted for years was to share our music with people who want to hear it. Now that's exactly what we're doing. Our journey proves that the power of manifestation is real. If you want something badly enough, you can shape your world instead of letting the world shape you.
