Shri Ujjaini Jagadguru Saddharma Peetha
Shri mad ujjaini jagadguru saddharma simhasana mahasamsthana peetha .There is a proverb used in this part of the world called "Ujjaini Olage nodu, Hampi Horage Nodu" ("It's wonderful to watch the Sculptures inside the temple of Ujjaini and the same could be seen in around the Hampi Temple"). There is a unique festivity celebrated in Ujjaini called "Shikara Thailabhisheka" This occurs every year of vaishak shuddha shashti. There is a tradition to first offer the oil from germali family to the Shikara. Shikara is believed to have all existing gods and goddesses in the world.
Once in a year the shikara thailabhisheka is offered by many pilgrims from different parts of the country. The Cart festival is celebrated before a day of this Thailabhisheka. Every year thousands of devotees will witness this Cart festival and take the blessings of Shri Marulasiddhaling Rajadeshikendra shivacharya mahaswamiji
