He began with the duo “Gusi & Beto” (2006–2013) and later pursued a solo career, earning recognition from the Academy such as the 2023 LATIN GRAMMY for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album with Fonseca’s “Décimo Cuarto”, where he contributed as songwriter and co-writer of “Duele”. He also received the 2020 LATIN GRAMMY for Best Salsa Album with Luis Enrique’s “Soy y Seré”, as the composer of “Al Fin”. His album “Desde Mi Ventana” and the single “Locos Dementes” achieved Gold Records in Colombia and Peru, among others.
He has been nominated for five LATIN GRAMMY Awards with “Monte Adentro”, “24/7”, “Al Son de Mi Corazón”, “La Mandarina”, and his song “Tú Tienes Razón – EP”.
