T.S Henderson Cine Film Archive
A channel primarily dedicated to showing the cine film archive of my grandad, T.S Henderson (1902 to 1979), of George Henderson & Co, Kelso, Scotland, however I intend to publish some of my own contemporary content.
If my grandad was alive today, he would definitely be referred to as an "early adopter" or a "gadget freak". He always had to have the latest gadget, and being heavily into his photography and filmography, the latest still camera or cine camera.
I did not realise quite how prolific he was with his cine camera until my mum started to get some of his old reels digitised. There is a wealth of material that I am currently sorting through, editing and enhancing the footage as I go.
Areas of interest include:
The Scottish Borders, particularly the Kelso area.
Royal Highland Shows in the 1950's and 1960's.
The area around Seahouses, Northumberland.
Vintage agricultural machinery from the 1950's/60's.
