Hello, my name is Curtis Carey and have worked in Film, Television, Photography and News production since 2005.

I am a professional learner and storyteller. Someone who never stops exploring, never stops creating, and never stops growing. Everything I make comes from the curiosity that drives me every day.

For me, storytelling can be fiction or non-fiction. It lives in news, documentaries, information videos, music, film, television, video production, and writing. These are just some of the ways I’ve found storytelling to be meaningful throughout my life.

As long as I have breath and a mind, I’ll keep learning, creating, and sharing stories.

Having held many roles in independent film and television, news production, photography, graphic design, and videography.

I have received an advanced filmmaking certificate from New York Film academy, a BA in Film Studies at UNCW, and two masters in business administration (MBA), and film and television producing (MFA) from Chapman University.
